The more that I learn about the challenges that we face every day in our environment, in the home, outside the home, and the more that I learn about the beauty and gifts of nature, the more I am convicted to keep doing what I do. Ultimately, I hope to play my little part in changing the world for the better.
There is a movement on our hands, and it’s getting bigger. There is a reason that people are seeking natural alternatives, organic foods, chemical-free products. It’s not just a fad, it’s based in truth and that’s why I blog.
But blogging and sharing information isn’t enough. I think it is *the* most important step in helping others find real information, opening eyes and hearts to change… but it is just the first step. The second step is putting change in to action, and that starts in the home.
Change begins with the individual, in the home, and with the family. We’ve already seen some changes happening recently with large corporations changing their policies and standards, and I believe that is because money talks and it makes a difference where you spend your dollars. In this case it is probably less important where you spend your dollars and more important where you stop spending your dollars– and that needs to be to companies that are filling the products you use in your home with junk. Even those that label themselves as “natural,” or “organic,” or…. you get the idea, are sometimes no better than those that don’t. It’s called greenwashing, and it’s incredibly frustrating.
So, what’s the solution? Well, you have two options:
1: If your preference is #1, you are probably the type that has some time or makes the time because you love to make concoctions! The best thing about DIY with your products is that you will always know exactly what is going in them… as long as you find trustworthy ingredients. Since I’m totally not a DIY girl (no time, and I seriously cannot follow a recipe), there are some really awesome Mommy bloggers out there who share recipes all the time that you can make right at home. Blogger Wellness Mama even includes which specific ingredients she uses in her recipes. I’ve never made any myself, but they really look totally awesome!
2: If you’re not too sure about DIY, maybe you’ve heard about a lot of natural and organic companies out there… the question is, are they really natural or organic? Unfortunately, most of them aren’t. And even then, some of the ones that are are still really expensive. Because the FDA actually has no regulations on words like “natural,” “organic,” “eco-friendly,” etc. you simply can’t just trust what is written on a package, which can make finding something true very overwhelming.
What I’d like to do is make that EASY for you, keep reading….
Hardee-har-har, YES, I’m not ashamed of the fact that I am a part of this wonderful and amazing company! The thing is, becoming a part of this company 2 years ago was the catalyst for this journey I’ve set on to inform others of the world we live in through this blog. And the more that I’ve continued to learn, the more I have come to realize how very important being a part of this company is to my life! If you haven’t checked it out already, you can head over to My Journey page to read more about just how Radiantly You has physically changed my life.
In this journey though, it wasn’t enough to just know that RY was physically the answer to some of my personal ailments, this particular journey was borne out of searching for the reason WHY Radiantly You, as opposed to any other company, was the answer that I was seeking. The reason WHY is what makes this company worth knowing about.
So Why Radiantly You?
Unlike most companies that claim to be “all-natural,” well, Radiantly You actually IS. Ingredients derived directly from nature, many of which are used in their raw state. Minimally processed, ethically and sustainably sourced, and without chemical processing. One might easily read some of these things and scoff at the idea that they are “magic products,” but in reality, they are nothing spectacular besides the fact that they are PURE. And in their purity, they allow our bodies to work beautifully With the products, not against them. Mainstream products include so many synthetically created chemicals that really affect the ways our bodies work that can do more harm than they ever can do good.
Radiantly You, created by a frustrated mama herself, started in her own home in her own kitchen. Pretty much just DIY, trying to find a solution to the problem of being unimpressed with the purity of commercial options available. After a couple of years of offering her products to friends, family, selling on Etsy, and on the brink of having the products on store shelves, she decided to do a complete halt of this direction and put these products and business in the hands of others through direct sales.
Because of this decision we, as Independent Wellness Guides, get to share and spread the beauty, purity and mission of this company far and wide. We get to learn and educate, and we get to earn an income in the meantime just sharing what we love. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to have better, safer products in their home and that it should be easily and affordably attainable.
Here is a little bit more information on Radiantly You, and keep in mind that if you want to be a part of the mission, the opportunity is always open…
